Five Ingredient “Reese’s” Eggs

Gluten Free and Vegan Friendly

My first attempt at making the” Reese’s” eggs! I got a little messy and creative in the kitchen… These eggs are lopsided but TASTY! Made with only five ingredients and take less than 10 minutes to make. Enjoy as a sweet treat for you and your family this Easter weekend!


Step by step

Kitchen gadgets:

  • Food processor or high speed blender

  • Rubber spatula

Ingredients:

  • 6 pitted dates

  • 4 tbsp raw peanut butter

  • 3 tbsp ground flax seed

  • 3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk or water

  • 1 bar Lily’s 70% dark chocolate

Method:

  • In food processor or blender, blend six dates until ball form

  • Then add 3 tbsp ground flax seeds, 3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk, and 4 tbsp raw peanut butter

  • Blend until smooth texture forms

  • Then place on wax paper and roll into potato form

  • Cut 1/2 inch thick pieces

  • Roll in melted Lily’s 70% dark chocolate and place on small baking sheet lined with wax or parchment paper

  • Freeze ~ 30 minutes- 1hr then enjoy!
