When it is that time of the month and all you want is to be cozy with warm delicious food, I want to encourage you to try my sweet potato toast. Magnesium has been proven to help reduce period cramps and sweet potatoes are full of it! So, put those pjs back on, brew a cup of coffee, and meet me in the kitchen!

Step by step
Kitchen gadgets:
Chef’s knife
Parchment paper
Large baking sheet
Ingredients:
1 long sweet potato
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp raw creamy almond butter
1 tsp honey
1/2 c fresh berries (raspberries and blueberries are my personal favorite for this recipe)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 400 F and wash the potato
Cut the sweet potato into thirds longitudinally
Place parchment paper on baking sheet and add the sweet potato to it
Brush olive oil on the top of each potato piece and sprinkle with cinnamon
Bake for 20 minutes or 10 and broil for 5 to make edges crispy (just watch it, the smell will tell you when it’s almost done)
Once done, set aside and allow it to cool for 5 minutes then spread with almond butter, honey, and top with berries
