Kitchen gadgets:
wooden spoon
stainless steel large mixing bowl
half sheet pan
parchment paper
Ingredients:
4 cups organic rolled oats
1/2 cup whole raw almonds
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup white quinoa (not cooked)
1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup local honey
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
In large mixing bowl add all dry ingredients and stir with wooden spoon
Add melted coconut oil and honey
Stir well making sure every piece of granola and nut is coated
Line basic half sheet cooking pan with parchment paper
Add mix to pan and press down with back of spoon
Bake for 12 minutes then toss and press down with spoon
Bake for an addition 10 minutes
Do not let it get overly crispy
Allow it to sit and cool undisturbed for 2 hours then break into pieces and store in large mason jar for up to 2 weeks
