Detoxing Bone Broth Soup

Collagen rich, complete protein source, and made with fiber rich ingredients

Don’t eat beef?

Or, maybe you and that is okay too! A lot of my clients, do not eat red meet and as women age, their bodies need more complete protein sources to help support the health and structure of their bones. This broth is a perfect pre dinner, late afternoon option giving her a good amount of protein and collagen in each sip!


Step by step

Ingredients:

  • 1 container of locally sourced beef bone broth ( or Kettle and Fire from your local Whole Foods)

  • 1 c water

  • 1 c chopped celery

  • 1 c chopped carrots

  • 2 c chopped spinach

  • 1 c chopped kale

  • 1/2 c minced sweet onion

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp dried rosemary

  • 1 tbsp dried thyme

  • sea salt and black pepper to taste

  • 2 bay leaves

Method:

  • Add olive oil to dutch oven with garlic and onion

  • Sauté until golden then add carrots and celery

  • Add rosemary and thyme and toss

  • Add bone broth and greens and water

  • Sprinkle in sea salt and close lid on medium heat

  • Allow it to simmer for 20 mins then enjoy
